Financial Health Documentation
Qualitative financial-health pillars, input quality, interpretation, limitations, and improvement workflow without publishing proprietary weights.
Audience: Households using AccountHouse indicators as prompts for review. · 6-page PDF · v6.26.1
How to read this document
Sections move from purpose → concepts → calculation process → worked examples → edge cases. Formula boxes use plain mathematical notation for clarity; they are conceptual summaries, not API contracts.
- Point lists call out operator-visible behaviour.
- Callouts mark warnings, limitations, or important qualifications.
- Worked examples use round numbers so you can reproduce the arithmetic by hand.
Purpose
Financial Health organizes household signals into qualitative pillars and review prompts. It is not a credit score, diagnosis, eligibility decision, or personalized financial advice.
- Summarize selected household patterns
- Highlight areas worth reviewing
- Connect indicators to source modules
- Keep proprietary scoring mechanics private
Qualitative pillars
The experience may consider themes such as cash-flow consistency, spending control, resilience, debt burden, and progress toward goals. Pillars are qualitative lenses, not disclosed weighted equations.
- Cash flow: relationship between included income and expenses.
- Spending control: budget usage and variability.
- Resilience: available balances or buffers represented in the product.
- Debt: entered liabilities and modeled repayment context.
- Progress: movement toward selected goals.
Inputs and scope
- Selected household and period
- Enabled income
- Included expenses and budget configuration
- Entered assets, debts, and goals
- Currency conversion and data freshness
Incomplete data changes meaning
Missing income, off-platform debt, duplicate expenses, or stale asset values can make an indicator misleading.
What is and is not published
Public documentation identifies the types of inputs and the qualitative interpretation of pillars. Exact weights, normalization bands, thresholds, caps, and anti-manipulation rules are not published.
No proprietary weights
Do not infer fixed weights from examples or reverse-engineer a displayed result as a stable scoring contract.
Cash-flow pillar
Basic period savings signal
EnabledIncome − Expenses
Positive savings can support a healthier cash-flow interpretation, but a single month does not establish stability, liquidity, or affordability.
- Check seasonality.
- Separate one-off inflows.
- Review disabled income.
- Compare like periods.
Spending-control pillar
Budget usage concept
Spent / EffectiveLimit
Budget adherence can provide context, but limits are household-defined. A low limit is not inherently healthy, and exceeding one budget does not by itself define overall health.
Resilience pillar
Resilience considers whether entered resources appear capable of absorbing disruption. Liquidity, access restrictions, currency, and data completeness matter.
Assets differ
An illiquid property estimate is not equivalent to emergency cash.
Debt pillar
Entered debt balances and payment scenarios can indicate pressure and trajectory. AccountHouse cannot verify lender terms, hidden fees, or unentered obligations.
- Use current balances.
- Review variable rates.
- Distinguish minimum from planned payments.
- Confirm payoff values with lenders.
Goal-progress pillar
Goal progress can show consistency toward household priorities. Double counting, unrealistic target dates, and stale balances reduce its usefulness.

Interpreting labels and changes
Read labels as prompts to inspect source data. A changed indicator can result from genuine activity, corrected data, a different period, changed configuration, or methodology evolution.
- Open the contributing module.
- Check period and currency.
- Inspect data freshness.
- Compare absolute values.
- Avoid treating small display changes as precise risk movements.
Responsible improvement workflow
Review a weaker pillar
- Identify the pillar and period.
- Open its source records.
- Correct missing or duplicate data.
- Choose a realistic household action.
- Review again after enough time for meaningful data.
The indicator supports a transparent household conversation rather than dictating a product purchase.
Not credit, underwriting, or diagnosis
No eligibility decision
Financial Health is not a bureau score and should not be used to approve, deny, price, or market credit, insurance, employment, housing, or another consequential service.
- No guarantee of solvency.
- No investment recommendation.
- No clinical or wellbeing diagnosis.
- No substitute for regulated professional advice.
History and methodology changes
Current indicators may be recalculated from current records and product methodology. Unless an explicit immutable snapshot is provided, a chart should not be treated as forensic proof of an earlier displayed score.
Data-quality checklist
- Income enabled correctly
- Expenses complete and deduplicated
- Budgets intentional
- Assets and debts current
- Goals not double-counted
- FX basis understood
- Household and period correct
Privacy, advice limits, and what we do not publish
AccountHouse is a household tracking and organisation tool. It is not a bank, payment processor, tax advisor, or investment advisor. Forecasts, health scores, balances, and alerts are informational.
- Household data is scoped to your household; other families cannot see your ledger.
- Public documentation explains product behaviour and calculation concepts, not proprietary internals.
- Exact scoring weights, anomaly thresholds, cryptography parameters beyond high-level algorithms, and operational detection rules are reserved.
- Financial-health data is sensitive household information and should be shared cautiously.
- Exact pillar weights, thresholds, and operational safeguards are intentionally not disclosed.
Intellectual property boundary
This document describes what AccountHouse calculates and which inputs matter. It does not disclose source algorithms, secret constants, or implementation details sufficient to reconstruct proprietary systems.
